Area Assistant Manager job Duties/Requirements: Primary responsibilities for the Area Assistant Manager are to assist the Regional Manager with daily responsibilities managing multiple locations and be a leader for our team. The Assistant Manager should also be able to fill the role of the Regional Manager in their absence and the following as needed:

• Assist with managing multiple warehouse teams including hiring and development, scheduling and payroll management, performance management and coaching to maximize retention of Warehouse Leads and their respective teams.
• Work with the Regional Manager to strive to achieve set metrics including accounting, delivery, inventory management, and warranties using excel as well as reporting from WMS or Wizmo
• Ensure execution of all inventory standards to include purchase orders, including LTL, FTL, and container shipments as well as inbound/outbound transfers in a timely manner using reporting from Wizmo and communicating via email.
• Consult with HR department regarding employee relations
• Pull, pick, pack auto parts as required
• Inspecting product for Quality Assurance
• General warehouse work as needed
• Assisting in the warehouse with assigned projects
• Learning and understanding our routing process and fostering a working partnership with our logistics team to ensure superior customer service.

This position encompasses the greater Phoenix area as well as Tuscon and Mesa and will require travel to all locations depending on business needs.

Salary Description

$55000 annually
