Part time Medical Director

As the Medical Director for BioWound Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing medical education and affairs within the context of the wound care industry. Your role combines clinical expertise with administrative leadership. Here are the details:

Responsibilities:

1. Recruiting and Managing Staff:
   • You will recruit, manage, and oversee the build out of a medical education team.
   • Ensuring that the company has a competent and well-functioning team is crucial.
2. Quality Assurance and Coordination:
   • You will examine and coordinate the companies’ activities to guarantee medical quality.
   • This involves ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.
3. Training and Promotion:
   • Assisting with the training, continuing education, and promotion of staff.
   • Supporting their professional development and growth.
4. Budget Management:
   • Managing the companies’ budget efficiently.
   • Allocating resources appropriately to maintain high-quality medical education.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Clinical Experience:
  • Proven work experience as a Medical Director or in a similar role.
  • A license and certification to practice medicine.
  • At least ten years of clinical medicine experience in wound care/skin substitutes.
• Administrative Experience:
  • Five or more years of experience in administration.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance.
• Medical Degree and Certification:
  • A medical degree (MD or DO).
