Job Title: Project Manager – Talent Management
Location: Hybrid. Redmond, WA (1-3 days in office)
W2 Contract: 3 – 18 months
Pay: $60 - $72 per hour
Job Summary & Candidate Value Proposition:
As a Non-IT Project Manager within the executive office for one of the EVPs, you'll play a pivotal role in managing various functions, from budget management to headcount tracking. This dynamic position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, supporting critical projects. You'll have exposure to interesting groups and drive key initiatives forward, making this role highly rewarding for seasoned professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals, and direct the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Skills & Education/Experience:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Years of Experience Required: 5 to 7 years of overall experience.
- Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- Disqualifiers: Does not meet the requirements.
- Best vs. Average: This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who can think outside the box, communicate effectively, and meet project deadlines consistently.
- Performance Indicators: Measured against OKRs and meeting project deadlines.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience communicating with stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of program or project management experience.
