Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist our Consumer based customers.

Duties:

• Answer calls
• Research products and parts
• Be able to identify vendors and parts needed
• Process orders, returns, quotes, create part numbers, etc.
• Call vendors to research products/parts, check order status & stock availability, obtain shipping detail and request return information
• Follow up on quotes, open sales orders, emails, etc.
• Display courtesy and respect to all customers

Skills:

• Customer Service Call Center experience, minimum 1 years
• Prior experience taking phone orders, processing orders, researching products (not services), processing returns, creating quotes, etc.
• Computer & Typing skills a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft programs (especially Word & Outlook)
• Knowledge of paperless workflow software/process
• Good phone/communication skills (with the ability to handle a high volume of in/outbound calls)
• Ability to multi-task (juggle multiple tasks such as processing orders, returns and researching product, sometimes all at the same time)
• Detail oriented (ability to take and enter detailed information into our system)
• Capability to handle difficult customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay on task
• Quick learner and willingness to learn
• Pleasant manner

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Call Center Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
