JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse Director - Emergency Department

RN DIR - ED

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Director of the Emergency Department will have the following job responsibilities:

Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
Has highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability, and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Registered Nurse candidates for the Director of the Emergency Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education:

Required: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care related field or a BSN.

Preferred: MSN or master's in a health care related field.

Experience:

Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.

Certifications:

Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
