Medical Receptionist

We are a medical clinic that has been serving the needs of patients in the Jackson Metro Area for the last 17 years. We serve the medical needs of families. We care for patients from birth to 100! We address preventative care needs as well as acute needs.

We are looking for Front Office Team members to work with our current front office service team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. We are searching for candidates that are great team players. You should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Front Office Team member’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Being a welcoming presence for our patients

Opening office/ensuring facility is ready for day ahead

Checking in patients

Checking out patients

Collecting co-pays, deductibles, co-insure, outstanding balances

Answering Phones

Data Entry

Scanning

Faxing

Closing procedures which include light cleaning duties that rotate

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

Patients with fever or acute respiratory symptoms are triaged by phone & enter the facility from a private entrance. Patients entering the front door complete a COVID questionnaire, have temp ck & wear masks. Team members wear masks.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Medical receptionist: 2 years (Required)
