Who You Are:

TickPicks Paid Search Advertising (SEM) Specialist is someone who is passionate about search advertising, with analytical background and a quick learner. You will report directly to the SEM/SEO Manager and work alongside the marketing team, and will play an integral role in scaling and building our paid search program - our largest media channel overall! You will be someone who excel at developing and executing strategic and tactical initiatives designed to help TickPick reach its business goals and marketing KPIs. You will own/execute a wide variety of SEM related projects and tasks such as campaign and ad copy creation, workflow automation, performance analysis, and bid and audience optimization on Google and Bing.

What Youll Do:

  • Assume ownership of the financial performance of our SEM campaigns to achieve business, revenue and profitability objectives
  • Develop hypotheses and run A/B Tests to optimize campaign performance and will scale winning tests.
  • Optimize the performance of the search ads with templates, automations, keywords research and analysis
  • Work with our tech team in order to create and/or update scripts that can help automate workflows
  • Collaborate with the Conversion Rate Optimization team to suggest potential landing page tests to improve SEM conversion rate
  • Ensure paid search and user tracking is set up properly and is working correctly across both our web and mobile platforms
  • Continually look for opportunities to grow your SEM knowledge and find unique opportunities to test to improve performance
  • Grow and maintain a deep knowledge of the business along with stakeholder needs and constraints

Team and Reporting

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to help enhance cross functional strategy
  • Work closely with our copywriter to design SEM copy
  • Report directly to the SEM/SEO Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications and Additional Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a SEM role working on Google and Bing Ads
  • SA360 experience a plus
  • Experience with scripting a plus
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • A/B testing experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience using Looker or other BI tools a plus
  • Passionate about search advertising
  • Quick learner of new search products - Google/Bing and emerging ads platform
  • Able to work independently and meet deadline
