Job Description

We are looking for a medical receptionist to replace one of our long-time front office employees. Primary job duties include answering phones and taking messages from patients and families, scheduling patients, verifying insurance and eligibility, checking in patients when they arrive for appointments, helping new patients with registration, taking co-pays and other payments, and processing medical forms and records. Office hours are typically from 8am-5pm M-F and 9am-1pm Saturdays (rotating shift). Hours are somewhat flexible. We use an electronic health record (EHR) which is required for this position.

We are a small busy office where employees work closely with one another and often learn skills from one another to be able to fill in when needed. We are a pediatric office who cares deeply for our community, children and families.
