Job description

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Medical Front Desk Receptionist *** .
  • Minimum of 1 year paid experience required.
This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 7:40AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, located in Suffolk, VA (23435).

Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of a Medical Front Desk Receptionist :

Job duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, checking patients in and out for appointments, scheduling appointments, collecting copays, depositing money each night, tracking office census each night, and maintaining an organized lobby. Overtime may be needed occasionally Monday through Friday. Must be able to multi-task, learn at a fast pace, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements for the Medical Front Desk Receptionist :
  • Required: 1+ years paid experience as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist
  • Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications for the Medical Front Desk Receptionist :
  • Preferred: Orthopaedics experience
  • Preferred: Experience in EMR Greenway
