Key Responsibilities:
Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Performs other duties as required.
Collaborates directly with HR teams across multiple functions, including payroll, benefits, training, and recruiting, to document existing processes comprehensively.
Regularly reviews HR processes in collaboration with respective teams to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with organizational objectives. Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement, leading efforts to modify and update processes to meet evolving needs and enhance efficiency within the HRIS environment.
Leads the development and implementation of HRIS-related projects arising from new business needs, including the creation of processes and systems integrations. Works closely with HR and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring the HRIS platform is leveraged effectively to meet evolving business requirements.
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert to provide insights on process design, modifications, and to address queries related to the operational logic and implementation of these processes within the HRIS environment.
Will spend 10% of your time carrying out key HR Processes to continue mastering data flows and policies in place.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Ability to keep information confidential.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
A plus is Power BI or other analytics report development.
Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least five years of related experience required.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
