About the Vice of President of Children's Clinical Services role:

The Vice of President of Children's Clinical Services is a key leadership position overseeing Early Intervention, and Therapies services for multiple locations. The VP of Children's Clinical Services promotes a collaborative relationship with program directors, maintaining transparency, providing strategic guidance, managing resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. The Vice President of Children's Clinical Services serves as a liaison and representative for Early Intervention and Therapies on the senior leadership team and for the Board of Directors as well as other stakeholders to drive clinical excellence, implement best practices, and promote positive outcomes.

This is a full-time position based out of Foxboro, MA.

Responsibilities of the role:

Leadership and Strategic Planning:
  • Work with Directors and Senior Team to identify, develop, and implement strategic initiatives, goals, and action steps to enhance services, aligning them with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Provide visionary leadership, fostering and maintaining a culture of excellence within the division.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that enhance the experience of team members and those being served.
  • Support and promote program-initiated events and projects.
Clinical Operations Management:
  • Support and oversee the daily operations of Early Intervention and Therapies, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to policies and procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying and implementing strategies that improve outcomes, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide fiscal oversight of programs, providing guidance and support with budgetary decisions, related to staffing, equipment, and supplies, to meet client needs and financial objectives.
Quality Improvement and Client Safety in collaboration with program directors:
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance client care, safety, and outcomes.
  • Establish and monitor clinical quality metrics, benchmarks, and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the appropriate committees and departments to develop policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice throughout the organization.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, funders, and community organizations.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, meetings, and events.
Team Member Development and Performance Management:
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work environment that supports team member engagement, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Assist with the provision of training and professional development for team members.
We are looking for people who have:
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in program management, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • A minimum of 10 years Early Intervention experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Early Intervention, outpatient therapy, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, can engage and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, promote innovation, and lead organizational transformation.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving results.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Ability to sit for extended time periods.
  • Routine travel to program sites is required.
  • Frequent phone and computer use.
