What We’re Looking For 

WC+A is looking for a full-time Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing all projects. You will manage all aspects of project support, workflow refinement, and asset quality-check from beginning to completion. Teamwork and collaboration are essential, along with effective communication. The ideal candidate is task-oriented, solution-driven, and meticulous. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations.

How You’ll Contribute 
  • Work with the Director of Operations and Account Managers to define the project scope: including timeline, milestones tracking, resources, labor hours, and any related costs
  • Maintains the master schedule for assigned projects and keeps all parties informed of their progress against the deadlines
  • Support internal and external teams with critical and time-sensitive digital asset requests
  • Collaborate with the team leads to ensure projects or requests for resources have been addressed during project intake and are assigned appropriately
  • Ensure all deliverables are meeting or exceeding business partner expectations, including adherence to established timelines/guidelines and budgets
  • Manages meeting agenda and documentation, presentation materials, client knowledge documentation, memos/correspondence, etc.
  • Regularly provides updates to account directors, other project managers and the senior leadership team regarding the health of project schedules, client relationships, and resources
  • Troubleshoot project issues, audit workflow, and align resolutions between the internal team and client stakeholders
  • When using external third-party vendors, select the most appropriate vendor, obtain client approval, and coordinate shipment, delivery, and posting
  • Provides coverage support for other PMs
  • Provides leadership and guidance to Project Coordinators and interns
  • Provides general office support as requested by senior staff
  • Other duties as assigned
Who You Are 
  • 3+ years of previous project management or project planning experience in the visual communication industry is preferred
  • Previous experience working in digital, social, and print creative media (ideally with emphasis on entertainment brands and key art campaigns)
  • Previous client-facing, account management experience
  • A proficient understanding of Google Workspace Apps and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Scoro, Asana, and/or Wrike is a plus
  • Ability to be mentored and growth mindset
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Detail-oriented, excellent follow-through, ability to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines
  • Ability to approach a problem from multiple viewpoints
  • Ability to work through problems with a team that values collaboration and feedback 
  • Ability to think beyond the task at hand and identify blockers and improvements
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and work through problems with partners, taking them along for the journey – one team, one dream mentality

Compensation Expectations

The starting base compensation range for this position in the selected city is $75,000 - $116,378 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s certifications, location, prior experience, and qualifications. 

We benchmarked this position against the Robert Half Project Manager role, which closely resembles the level and responsibilities of this role for the Los Angeles area in 2024.
