This role oversees creative projects from intake through final delivery, providing structure, visibility, and accountability throughout the creative development process. The Creative Project Manager manages timelines, resources, workflows, stakeholder communication, and production budgets while balancing business priorities with creative production requirements. • Monitor project progress and identify risks, bottlenecks, dependencies, and timeline conflicts.
  • Keep projects on track through clear communication, follow-up, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate project reviews, approvals, and stakeholder alignment throughout the project life cycle.
  • Partner with the VP of Creative to assign work across the team based on workload, expertise, and business priorities.
  • Maintain visibility into team bandwidth and identify resource constraints early.
  • Schedule and coordinate creative team meetings, project kickoffs, reviews, and stakeholder working sessions.

  • Clarify project requirements, deliverables, priorities, and timelines with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, photographers, production partners, and vendors as needed.
  • Manage project changes, feedback, and revisions to maintain alignment across all parties.
  • Develop realistic schedules based on creative production workflows and timelines.
  • Account for concept development, production, review cycles, revisions, approvals, and contingencies.
  • Manage the Creative department production budget on behalf of the VP of Creative.
  • Track project expenses, invoices, estimates, and budget allocations.
  • Support budget planning, reporting, and vendor management activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, workflow records, and department reporting as needed.
  • Maintain and optimize Jira workflows and project management processes.
  • Ensure project data, timelines, and documentation remain accurate and current.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project visibility, communication, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement of creative operations and project management best practices.

  • 5+ years experience in creative project management, creative operations, agency account/project management, or in-house creative marketing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing creative projects from intake through launch.
  • Successful experience working closely with designers, copywriters, creative directors, photographers, productions teams, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of creative asset development and production workflows.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance business needs with creative development requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project management platform.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and creative production tools and workflows.
  • Experience in retail, consumer brands, advertising, marketing, or creative agency environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting photo shoots, video productions, and multi-channel marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Experience managing creative budgets and vendor relationships preferred.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through. The strongest candidate is adaptable, resourceful, and process-minded, with the ability to support creative quality while maintaining operational efficiency and business focus.
