Job description

Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award.
The Work: ICF is seeking a Digital Project Manager to support a federal research and innovation agency. In this role, you will lead and manage the development of high-quality visual and digital products that communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences. You will oversee creative production efforts across print, digital, video, and event platforms while ensuring alignment with agency branding, accessibility standards, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with hands-on creative expertise and the ability to translate scientific subject matter into compelling visual storytelling.
Job Location: This position requires you work in person five (5) days a week at our client office in Alexandria, Virginia.
What You Will Do:
  • Manage multiple simultaneous digital and creative projects, ensuring high-quality delivery within tight deadlines.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate creative direction into actionable production plans.
  • Oversee the design and production of graphic layouts for print and digital media, including press kits, reports, presentations, and event materials.
  • Manage creative and digital teams.
  • Manage the design of infographics and visual materials for press releases, media events, trade shows, conferences, and exhibits.
  • Oversee the development of graphics and animated content for video production, web content, and social media platforms.
  • Ensure all creative materials comply with branding guidelines and maintain the Agency's visual identity.
  • Conduct research and collaborate with researchers and subject-matter experts to ensure scientific accuracy in visual representations.
  • Ensure all content meets current Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Provide technical and artistic guidance to staff regarding visual communication best practices.

What You Will Bring With You:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing digital or creative projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience supporting federal agencies or working in a government consulting environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team and independently.

  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience establishing or maintaining organizational visual identity standards.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$81,499.00 - $138,549.00
