Job description

The Creative Project Manager serves as the operational hub of the Creative team, partnering with creative leadership, marketing partners, channel leads, and external vendors to ensure creative work is planned, prioritized, and delivered effectively. This role oversees creative projects from intake through final delivery, providing structure, visibility, and accountability throughout the creative development process. The Creative Project Manager manages timelines, resources, workflows, stakeholder communication, and production budgets while balancing business priorities with creative production requirements. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Creative team and internal marketing partners, aligning priorities, facilitating communication, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently while maintaining the quality and integrity of the creative work.


  • Manage creative projects from intake through final delivery and launch.
  • Open, maintain, and manage all creative projects in Jira.
  • Develop project estimates, timelines, milestones, and production schedules for creative requests.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks, bottlenecks, dependencies, and timeline conflicts.
  • Keep projects on track through clear communication, follow-up, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate project reviews, approvals, and stakeholder alignment throughout the project life cycle.
  • Partner with the VP of Creative to assign work across the team based on workload, expertise, and business priorities.
  • Maintain visibility into team bandwidth and identify resource constraints early.
  • Schedule and coordinate creative team meetings, project kickoffs, reviews, and stakeholder working sessions.
  • Prepare agendas, document notes, track action items, and communicate next steps.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal marketing partners, channel leads, and business stakeholders.
  • Clarify project requirements, deliverables, priorities, and timelines with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, photographers, production partners, and vendors as needed.
  • Manage project changes, feedback, and revisions to maintain alignment across all parties.
  • Develop realistic schedules based on creative production workflows and timelines.
  • Account for concept development, production, review cycles, revisions, approvals, and contingencies.
  • Manage the Creative department production budget on behalf of the VP of Creative.
  • Track project expenses, invoices, estimates, and budget allocations.
  • Support budget planning, reporting, and vendor management activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, workflow records, and department reporting as needed.
  • Maintain and optimize Jira workflows and project management processes.
  • Ensure project data, timelines, and documentation remain accurate and current.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project visibility, communication, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement of creative operations and project management best practices.

  • 5+ years experience in creative project management, creative operations, agency account/project management, or in-house creative marketing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing creative projects from intake through launch.
  • Successful experience working closely with designers, copywriters, creative directors, photographers, productions teams, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of creative asset development and production workflows.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance business needs with creative development requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project management platform.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and creative production tools and workflows.
  • Experience in retail, consumer brands, advertising, marketing, or creative agency environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting photo shoots, video productions, and multi-channel marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Experience managing creative budgets and vendor relationships preferred.

The primary environment for this role is a combination of an open office and a remote workplace. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. This role is expected to be on-site in Home Office 3 days per week on an ongoing basis. Travel may be required to stores, conferences or events up to 5% of the time.

Base Pay range for this role is $76,000 -$94,000 annually. Your placement in the range is determined through interviews, a review of experience, knowledge, skills, balanced pay with other team members and alignment with geographic market data. Home office base pay ranges are based on the Denver market.  We target most new hire offers toward the lower end of the listed range, but more demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills may result in a higher starting rate.
Beyond Base Pay: Home office positions are eligible for consideration for an annual bonus, based on total company performance.  Amounts vary by role and are based on a percentage of eligible earnings for the fiscal year.
