General Description:
We are seeking a Creative Services Manager to join our team. The Creative Services Manager advances the Firm's brand through highquality, strategically driven design. This role leads and mentors a team of graphic designers, manages external creative vendors, and ensures the consistent delivery of compelling visual solutions that support business development, marketing, and profileraising initiatives.

Partnering closely with business development, communications, and digital teams, the Creative Services Manager translates complex ideas into clear, engaging visual communications and supports integrated marketing efforts that strengthen the firm's market position. Working with the Senior Creative Services Manager, this role helps shape and execute the firm's creative strategy, including brand standards, visual identity, and design systems, while serving as a trusted advisor to senior marketing leadership. The position is responsible for upholding design excellence and brand consistency while driving innovation, efficiency, and scalability across all creative outputs.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Creative Execution & Project Management

  • Manage creative projects from concept through execution, translating marketing and business development objectives into compelling visual solutions.
  • Oversee the day-to-day design and production of marketing and business development materials across print and digital channels.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic priorities.

Team & Vendor Oversight

  • Oversee and mentor a team of graphic designers and manage external creative vendors, including designers, printers, and other production partners.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and quality control to ensure high standards of execution across all deliverables.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Senior Creative Services Manager and Senior Marketing Editorial Manager to ensure alignment between design and messaging.
  • Collaborate with business development, communications, digital, and practice/industry marketing teams to support integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Engage with marketing leadership and firm stakeholders to understand needs and recommend effective creative solutions.

Brand Stewardship & Quality Control

  • Ensure all creative output aligns with the firm's brand standards, visual identity, and messaging framework.
  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and quality across all materials, while identifying opportunities to enhance and differentiate the firm's visual presence.
  • Support the development and evolution of templates, guidelines, and design systems to improve consistency and efficiency.

Operations & Process Management

  • Manage creative workflows, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Support key initiatives such as lateral onboarding, firmwide campaigns, and internal communications with high-quality creative execution.
  • Serve as a liaison on select firmwide projects (e.g., intranet, marketing technology initiatives) to represent creative services needs.
  • Contribute to onboarding and training of new marketing team members and promote best practices across the department.

Additional Expectations

  • Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.
  • Special projects and duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite or Microsoft 365; familiarity with presentation design (PowerPoint) required.

Required Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in graphic design or creative services, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience translating marketing and business objectives into effective visual communications across print and digital platforms.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Education:

  • Experience in a law firm or similar professional services organization.
  • Experience collaborating with business development, marketing, or communications teams on integrated campaigns or initiatives.
  • Familiarity with creative project management tools, digital content platforms, or marketing technologies that support efficient production workflows.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Moderate or advanced keyboard usage.
