About the Role :
The Creative Services Group is comprised of our design, curation, workplace strategy and marketing teams. These teams play a pivotal role in the work CRI does on behalf of our clients.
CRI is in San Francisco. This position is hybrid, but there would be an expectation to be in San Francisco a minimum of 3 days a week to be successful in this role.
As a Creative Services Coordinator, you will support these teams in a variety of tasks and projects, including:
  • Orders material samples and participates in finish/fabric meetings with Ancillary Curator/Designer, client, and design firm to execute final product specifications
  • Assist Studio Resource Specialists manage CRI material library, which includes maintaining stock of required samples and communicating with manufacturer representatives when additional materials are needed, as well as adhering to a high level of organization and tidiness of material library
  • Assists Ancillary Curators with budget pricing, validation packages, quote requests, COM testing, furniture demo coordination, transactional requests, ancillary spreadsheet data entry and organization, and attends project meetings when necessary
  • Participates in industry events and participates in marketing opportunities for CRI
  • Assists in executing marketing opportunities for CRI, including pop-up events, social media, and marketing e-blasts
  • Assists with Request for Proposal (RFP) coordination
  • Maintains vendor relationships and stays current on product updates, discontinuations, trends and new releases, as well as visits local showrooms and meets with local reps
  • Represents CRI as unofficial brand ambassador during industry events and meetings

Requirements
Experience/Skills:
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, including public speaking
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales and/or marketing within a sales team, experience in contract furniture industry a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in interior design, architecture, marketing or related field, preferred
  • Understanding of contract furniture specification process and pricing, preferred
  • Has a creative eye and passion for furniture and interior design
  • Demonstrates initiative at work, able to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, sound judgment in business transactions, and to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a high pressure, deadline-intensive environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel and PowerPoint, and preferred experience with AutoCAD, Sketchup, and 2020CAP
