Sr. Manager, Creative Services


Schumacher Electric is seeking a Sr. Manager, Creative Services to lead and execute high-impact creative initiatives across both digital and physical channels in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. In this role, you will drive projects from concept through execution while actively contributing within a lean team, ensuring cohesive and compelling brand experiences at every touchpoint. You will partner cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and operations to align creative output with business objectives, while staying at the forefront of cultural trends, emerging technologies, and AI-driven tools. Duties/Responsibilities

  •  Lead, manage, and actively contribute to all creative projects, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on design execution.
  •  Serve as a key contributor across all projects, stepping in wherever needed to support business priorities in a small, collaborative team environment.
  •  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
  •  Own project management responsibilities including timelines, prioritization, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  •  Partner closely with marketing to support campaigns, product launches, and content initiatives with effective creative assets.
  •  Translate product positioning, research insights, and creative briefs into compelling and effective designs across multiple channels.
  •  Create, edit, and produce assets across packaging, product labeling, instruction manuals, digital campaigns, social media, and eCommerce platforms.
  •  Review and refine all creative output to ensure consistency with brand standards and high-quality execution.
  •  Manage campaign asset resizing, versioning, and optimization for various platforms and channels.
  •  Collaborate with developers and external partners as needed to ensure proper implementation and user experience across digital platforms.
  •  Translate wireframes and concepts into simple, user-friendly interfaces and experiences.
  •  Leverage AI tools and automation to enhance creative production efficiency, content generation, and workflow optimization.
  •  Maintain a working knowledge of digital marketing trends, including content strategy, social media, and performance-driven creative.
  •  Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and take ownership of a wide variety of creative and cross-functional tasks.
  •  Foster a collaborative, positive, and solution-oriented team environment while leading by example.
  •  Foster a culture consistent with Schumacher's purpose, core values, and strategic anchors.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

  •  Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to both develop and execute ideas.
  •  Proven ability to thrive in a small team environment where flexibility, initiative, and ownership are critical.
  •  Strong project management skills, including prioritization, organization, and cross-functional coordination.
  •  Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  •  Working knowledge of digital marketing concepts and how creative drives engagement and conversion.
  •  Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and digital platforms used for content creation and workflow efficiency.
  •  Strong understanding of brand standards and the ability to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
  •  Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; exposure to additional tools is a plus).
  •  Working knowledge of print production, packaging, and digital asset creation.
  •  Digital-first mindset with experience in social media, eCommerce, and online content design.
  •  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  •  Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, or similar).
  •  High level of accountability, adaptability, and willingness to "roll up sleeves" to get the job done.

Qualifications

  •  Education: Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic communications, marketing, or related field.
  •  Experience: 5-8 years of professional design experience, preferably in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, with 1-3 years of leadership or project management experience.
  •  Internal applicants: 6+ months successful demonstration of current position responsibilities, approval from current manager, and a relevant combination of education, continuing education, and experience.
