Job description

About the Team
At DoorDash, our mission is to grow and empower local economies. We believe that brand and creativity play a critical role in making that mission real for every customer, merchant, and dasher we serve. The Brand & Creative team plays a critical role in achieving that mission by earning an outsized share of people's attention and engagement. We are not here to blend in, but to stand out: to spark conversations, shape culture, earn attention and deepen connections.
We are a team of strategists, creatives, producers, marketers, and operators working together to turn business objectives into bold, effective, and emotionally resonant creative. We operate at the intersection of short-term impact and long-term brand building, ensuring every execution drives immediate results while strengthening how people feel about DoorDash over time. We believe that creativity is a business tool, and that when it's applied with focus, it drives not just awareness, but growth. This team owns the development, delivery, and evolution of the brand across every touchpoint, from major campaigns to always-on content.
Brand & Creative Operations is the connective hub of the Brand & Creative org. Our team - Business Leads and Creative Operations - creates the conditions for great work: ensuring every project is strategically grounded, operationally sound, on-brand and creatively excellent. We're embedded partners to Marketing, shaping how creative connects to marketing strategy, amplifies impact, and drives growth across the business.
About the Role
The Sr. Creative Project Manager (I5) is the operational driver who moves the creative work from brief to delivery - connecting Creative, Production, Business Leads, Resourcing, Integrated Marketing and Channel teams with the clarity and momentum each project needs. You own the project plan, timeline, status and execution for a portfolio of projects. You bring strong PM discipline, production savvy, and a genuine appetite for improving how creative work gets done. This role manages a portfolio of 10-20 projects in a quarter spanning quick-turn content, paid social, digital and CRM campaigns, to large integrated campaigns, across all DoorDash audiences.
What You'll Do
  • Work closely with the Brand & Creative teams (including Creative, Social, Brand Partnerships) and Cross-functional Partners (including Integrated Marketing, Media) - driving effective and efficient projects from start to finish.
  • Own project intake end-to-end; build timelines, confirm resource assignments with the Creative Ops Lead and Business Lead, surface timing risks early, and hold the line on brief quality before any work kicks off.
  • Manage asset production and delivery, ensuring brand consistency and legal compliance, overseeing QA, and coordinating delivery to trafficking.
  • Own project health reporting: maintain objective status in real time, lead weekly project reviews, and flag risks before they become delays.
  • Execution & daily management: track progress daily, update timelines and resource allocations, communicate status proactively to stakeholders, and ensure production partners and creatives are aligned on timing and deliverables.
  • Help manage third-party creative relationships, interfacing regularly with freelancers and production vendors
  • Own project closeout: ensure all deliverables are transferred, documented, and stored correctly, with no loose ends.
  • Contribute to capacity planning by surfacing project volume trends, flagging resourcing gaps, and keep project data clean and current in planning tools.
Who You Are
  • A pragmatic operator who knows how creative actually gets made - across integrated campaigns, content, social, performance and retention channels - and who understands that the project manager's job is to protect both speed and quality.
  • Organized and obsessively accountable - you treat timelines, budgets, and process hygiene as non-negotiable.
  • Strong communicator who can translate between creative teams, Business Leads, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem solver who anticipates risks, escalates early, and delivers calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity - able to make a call, move the work forward, and calibrate when to escalate versus solve it yourself.
  • You care about the work - not just whether it shipped on time, but whether it's good. You know when to push back on an unclear brief and when to protect the team's process.
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of project management experience in a creative agency or in-house brand/creative team. Experience managing integrated campaigns and familiarity with performance and retention channels is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience using project management tools (Monday.com, Airtable, Asana, or similar).
  • Strong track record of managing complex, multi-deliverable projects, with multiple stakeholders and steering them to on-time delivery.
  • Comfortable with data-driven reporting and maintaining clear project health metrics.
  • Self-starter mindset, with the ability to handle multiple projects with minimal oversight.
  • Nice to have: Hands-on experience with capacity planning or resourcing models; prior exposure to and practice with AI-enabled tooling for workflow efficiency.
