We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team in the roofing industry. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the service team, coordinating service requests, and delivering unparalleled customer service experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the service department operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in addressing customer needs and service requests.
- Manage a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support as needed to uphold company standards and meet performance goals.
- Coordinate scheduling and dispatch of service crews to customer locations for all scopes of work.
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to prioritize service requests and allocate resources accordingly.
- Ensure quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved. Addressing frequent callbacks and workmanship related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, invoices, and customer communications.
- Act as a primary point of contact for related customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, and work to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to roofing services.
- Handling ticket creation, scheduling & billings for service-related tickets.
- Create new strategies and ideas to better serve our clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the roofing industry, with a strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proven leadership abilities with previous experience managing teams in a service-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with industry-specific software and tools for scheduling, invoicing, and labor management.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends as needed to accommodate customer demands and service schedules.
