Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As the primary point of contact with prospective clients, our SDR possesses a deep understanding of the sales process. They excel in researching leads, initiating new relationships, and bolstering The PMO Squad's brand presence. The SDR is a "GET IT DONE" driven individual who thrives as a sales professional. The ideal SDR candidate should be a quick learner, adept communicator, and proficient in presenting our offerings persuasively to expand our prospect and customer pipeline.

Status: Full-Time | Exempt

Compensation: $55,100k/yr. + Commission

Location: Remote; must reside within the U.S.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients to expand our client base.
  • Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline, update activity in CRM.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to drive business expansion.
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, social media, and ZoomInfo to identify potential prospects.
  • Gather valuable information from customer and competitor data to inform business strategies.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to inbound sales leads through various channels, including emails, content engagements, website inquiries, and social media.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand prospect needs and qualify them based on predefined criteria.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed about industry trends.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand and align with campaign strategies.
  • Provide valuable feedback on the quality of leads generated and collaborate on optimizing lead generation efforts.
  • Schedule qualified appointments for handoff to the sales team to facilitate new business acquisitions.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics related to prospecting activities.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation in achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.

Experience Must Haves:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or comparable role; must have experience selling services or other intangibles.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing sales pipelines and prospects; should have some experience utilizing prospect databases such as ZoomInfo.
  • Must have experience networking using various social media platforms including LinkedIn.
  • Some familiarity with CRMs such as Salesforce, Hubspot, etc. with ability to quickly learn new software and technology as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; should be comfortable communicating with key decision makers and senior leaders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dispersed workforce in a remote environment.
