Overview :We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our Federal division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving growth and fostering relationships within the federal government sector, as well as established connections with large companies. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex government procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion within the federal government sector.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including contracts, partnerships, and acquisitions, that align with the company's objectives.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in federal agencies, including decision-makers and procurement officials, as well as key contacts within large companies.
  4. Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other materials to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to federal clients.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  7. Manage the federal business development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
  8. Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  2. Proven track record of success in business development within the federal government sector, with a focus on winning contracts and driving revenue growth.
  3. Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  5. Strong leadership abilities, with experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  6. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities while mitigating risks.
  7. Experience in developing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals to federal clients.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  9. Active security clearance preferred.
