Salesforce Business Analyst

NOTE:   This is a full-time employment opportunity (No C2C, subcontractor or 1099 engagements, please).   The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a secret clearance (an active secret clearance is preferred).  This is a remote opportunity with the possibility of occasional meetings on-site (DC/MD/VA area).

Daily Responsibilities

• Work with clients and end-users to gather, understand, and define business requirements.
• Participate and lead key meetings with clients including requirement gathering sessions, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
• Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for the clients.
• Work collaboratively with team members to design a solution that will meet the client’s business requirements and fulfill user stories.
• Complete the configuration for user stories within Salesforce, AppExchange products, or/and other cloud-based technologies.
• Collaborate with developers to unit test and verify that solutions meet the requested business requirements.
• Create demo and training material for new and existing application users.
• Create Use cases, Requirement Document, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Impact Analysis, Workflows, Test case, etc.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as mandated by our government client).
• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance; candidates with an active secret clearance are preferred.
• Must be local to the DC/MD/VA metro area, no convenience travel.
• 7+ years of business consulting experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a CRM Business Analyst or Product Owner for mid-to-large sized organizations.
• 3+ years of Salesforce consulting experience throughout the implementation of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficient with leveraging and configuring Salesforce AppExchange products to develop a solution.
• Hands-on experience using Salesforce or similar CRM products to advise stakeholders on business solutions including workflows, validation rules, security controls, etc.
• Experience with Salesforce.com configuration and familiarity with Salesforce.com custom development.
• Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements.
• Experience documenting requirements, transforming requirements to user stories, and creating to-be process flow diagrams.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to work both independently and in teams, to shift schedules to accommodate sudden major changes, and meet tight deadlines.
• Highly organized, systematic, and proactive in managing quality and exceeding customer expectations.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up on new clients, their business needs, and technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and able to communicate effectively to an audience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• BS/BA degree in computer science, information sciences, or related IT discipline. Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree.

Preferred Experience (A PLUS)

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification is a PLUS
• Agile methodology experience is a PLUS.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator is a PLUS.
• Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant is a PLUS.
