About Our Opportunity
As a VP of Channel Distribution, your expertise will bolster sales of our health plan solutions, enhancing both revenue and market share. You’ll develop strategic plans and execute those plans to engage with Third Party Administrators, Regional and National Health Plans, Reinsurance Carriers, Captives, and other key players in health plan distribution.

Things You’ll Do Here
  • Strategy Development: Craft and execute a robust sales strategy in line with our company’s vision. Focus on boosting revenue and expanding market presence. Regularly assess and refine this strategy for maximum impact.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry leaders to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities. Your efforts here will not only generate new business but also elevate our brand.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and lead generation. Apply innovative sales techniques to pursue these opportunities and win new business.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure the sales strategy is effectively implemented.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Establish key sales metrics to gauge strategy effectiveness and identify improvement areas. Leverage these insights for informed decision-making.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in industry events and conferences to build relationships with prospects and industry leaders. Use these events as an opportunity to showcase the company's products and services, establish thought leadership, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge Expertise: Maintain a high level of knowledge about industry trends, developments, and emerging technologies to ensure that the company remains competitive and relevant. Share this knowledge internally to keep our team sharp and competitive.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation and adherence. Regularly report to senior management on sales performance and financials.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • 7+ years of experience in a business development or sales role within the healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare plan administration and/or self-funded plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A plus if you have:
  • CPCS or CPMSM certification or willingness to obtain certification within a year.
  • Knowledgeable in NCQA, URAC, AAAHC, and other State and Federal standards.
