IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician will:

• Provide onsite technical assistance to 3 NYC Hotels, Offices and New Jersey Warehouse.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues with all users. Interact with vendors and support teams to progress incidents.
• Assist IT Team with projects, hardware / software / application deployment.
• Collaborate with London IT Team on incidents and requests.
• Participate in creation or revision of user training manuals and procedures.
• Maintain Daily Operational Reports for reference of both New York and London IT Teams.

• Strong written and oral communication in a friendly, professional manner.
• Is analytical, detail oriented, and a strong problem solver.
• Has excellent Planning and Organization; prioritizing tasks to manage time most effectively.
• Good understanding of Computer Operating Systems, Hardware and Networking concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other commonly used software applications.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory is preferred.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends.
• An Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Professional / Vendor certifications (e.g. CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft).
• 1+ years in a comparable position.
