Job description

We are looking for experienced IT Support Technicians to join an enterprise IT support project as

an Independent Contractor, providing on-site support to one of our clients in North Carolina.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide Level 1 technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, network, and account-related issues.
  • Manage and prioritize ServiceNow tickets, ensuring SLA compliance and accurate documentation.
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and end-user applications.
  • Perform computer imaging, deployment, and configuration of new devices.
  • Install software, drivers, updates, and security patches.
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 2/Level 3 support teams when required.
  • Track incidents through resolution and maintain clear communication with end users.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing equipment and recovering IT assets.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application support teams on IT initiatives, hardware refreshes, and technology upgrades.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while supporting users with different levels of technical expertise.


Required Skills:


  • Experience providing Level 1/Desktop Support in a corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with computer imaging and device deployment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
