We are seeking a motivated, "hands-on" IT & Systems Support Technician for our manufacturing facility. This role is a mix of desktop support, physical security, and infrastructure management. You will start with the fundamentals-organizing equipment and supporting staff-while being mentored to manage critical network and server hardware. This is a career-growth position where your pay increases as you master new technical milestones and take on higher-level responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure & Organization: Own the organization of the server room and IT closets; manage cabling, label equipment, and maintain a clean, professional hardware environment.
  • Server & Network Support: Assist with the physical installation, cabling, and monitoring of servers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Physical Security Systems: Maintain site security technology, including IP cameras, NVR management, and electronic access control (badge readers).
  • Production Floor Support: Ensure all "mission-critical" hardware-label printers, ruggedized tablets, and workstations-stay online to keep production moving.
  • Desktop Support: Provide first-tier support for Windows, Microsoft 365, and general connectivity issues for office and plant staff.
  • The "Level-Up" Path: Under leadership guidance, you will be trained to:
  • Perform basic SQL queries and data audits for our ERP.
  • Manage user permissions and basic configurations in the ERP system.
  • Monitor server health and assist with network troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using basic tools and working with physical hardware (racking servers, running cable, mounting cameras).
  • Technical Curiosity: A strong desire to understand how networks and servers function.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders to service cameras or overhead network gear.
  • Reliability: Punctual, organized, and capable of working independently on the manufacturing floor.

This role operates an industrial machine with an English-only interface. Successful candidates must be able to read and understand machine prompts, safety warnings, SOPs, and error messages in English, and communicate with the team regarding machine status. The English proficiency required is limited to what is necessary to perform these tasks safely and effectively.
