Human Resources Director Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting periodic audits of employee records and files and workplace poster requirements to ensure federal and state compliance (i.e., I-9s)
- Provide daily hands-on human resources expertise to the GI business in the areas of employee relations, recruiting and on-boarding, employee development, training, compensation, organizational development and more, provide backup HR business support to other businesses locally as required
- Lead the review, maintenance, and communication of HR policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal law, Joint Commission requirements
- Manage employee relations issues, including leading internal investigations and providing recommendations for resolution
- Administer benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, FSA, COBRA, Worker’s Compensation, and leave administration
- Provide compensation analysis to support the business
- As assigned, manages routine, less complex employee relations and performance issues in conjunction with line management
- In collaboration with HR Business Partners, consult with managers and staff regarding employee relations concerns, including corrective action, workplace disputes, and facilitation of resolution of issues between management and staff
- Liaise with comp/data teams to ensure clients’ data needs and requirements are met
