Manager of Marketing

Allure Pet Products, LLC., a fast-growing pet products manufacturer specializing in premium pet toys and accessories, is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on, and energetic individual to join its team as the Manager of Marketing.

We are searching for an individual with 5-10 years’ experience marketing brands/products with some experience in media, advertising and ecommerce. In this position, you will write, produce, coordinate, and maintain materials required to successfully market the complete family of HuggleHounds® products, both directly to the consumer and across its group of distribution and retail partners. You must be able to coordinate and collaborate with all departments to ensure we are seamlessly communicating through all platforms, and that our brands’ ethos, language and voice are in sync regardless of communication channel. You will need familiarity with both online and print material creation, distribution, and tracking. You will oversee the creation of the company’s annual catalogue and work closely with the company’s digital marketing agency to ensure our website design, functionality and organization are up to date and working smoothly, and manage/oversee promotions and campaigns. Other responsibilities include presentations, assistance in design, both web and print, product tags as well as other collateral materials. You will work in tandem with the Social Media Marketing Specialist as well as the Digital Sales Manager to execute promotions and programs and ensure all platforms are well-managed.

The Manager of Marketing will report directly to the company’s Managing Partner and will work alongside the entire leadership team to shape and steer the direction of the company. Experience in many facets of marketing – digital as well as traditional - is vital (web development, graphic design, content marketing, account based marketing, advertising, etc.).

Candidate must have initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results, with innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response, and a professional style that is goal oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way.

Our objective is to leverage our unique market position as a leader in the pet category and the strength of the robust consumer passion for their pets to accelerate what has been consistent and steady growth over the past 13 years, and to meet or exceed the annual sales revenue goals established.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategy

• Develop marketing strategy that supports HuggleHounds annual strategic goals
• Creation, writing, production, coordination, and maintenance of all materials required to successfully market the complete family of HuggleHounds® products

Implementation and Team Management

• Execute and/or oversee execution of marketing strategy in timely and effective manner
• Maintain and continuously strengthen HuggleHounds presence, both online and with retailer partners
• Manage and coach marketing team including social media specialist (e.g., provide guidance and feedback on social media)
• Monitor marketing progress and submit performance assessments

Partnership Building

• Build strong, trust-based relationships with marketing and communications partners as well as marketing leads at partner organizations
• Identify and cultivate opportunities for broader awareness and thought leadership

Your experience and skills

• Prior experience developing and marketing a marketing and communications strategy
• People leadership skills, including coaching and project management experience, including work-planning or process management
• Superb organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple and competing priorities and effectively delegate tasks
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills

**Other Role Details**

· Manage and collaborate with all members of the HH marketing team

· Write, create and maintain all marketing materials for HuggleHounds® products as well as for all broader company marketing purposes and initiatives.

· Manage the company relationship with its Digital marketing agency and all work with its consumer-facing efforts and sales

· Develop and enhance relationships across the universe of existing and potential new partners.

· Develop and maintain a broad market understanding of the latest products, changes and trends within the pet market.

· Assist in the company branding initiatives including website enhancement, social media presence and developing broader market exposure.

· Manage company relationship with our not-for-profit partners within our HuggleCause program as well as outreach and selection of new partners.

· Serve as contact for all press/PR outreach.

· Create and implement communication to all classes of trade via email marketing.

· Working with Managing Partner, oversee the development of product packaging, product tags etc.

· Manage work of outside graphic designer
