Join our team as an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational success. As an integral part of our team, the HR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that seamlessly align with our company's overarching goals and values. This multifaceted position demands proficiency across various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from crafting compelling job postings to seamless onboarding, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates who resonate with our company culture and objectives. 
  • Manage New Hire Orientation and Employee Offboarding processes with precision. 
  • Collaborate closely with department managers to identify staffing needs and devise effective recruitment strategies tailored to each department's unique requirements. 
  • Proactively manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. 
  • Conduct thorough investigations and resolve workplace issues in strict adherence to company policies and relevant laws. 
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes to drive employee development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Offer guidance to supervisors on performance improvement plans and goal setting to facilitate continuous improvement. 
  • Administer and enhance employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, with a keen focus on optimizing our offerings. 
  • Oversee COBRA administration and manage workers' compensation administration efficiently. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, recommending improvements to our benefits package to maintain competitiveness. 
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal and state employment laws, regulations, and company policies. 
  • Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect best practices and legal requirements. 
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees. 
  • Collaborate with managers to create career development plans for high-potential employees. 
  • Coordinate and organize employee events to enhance team engagement and strengthen our workplace culture. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • HR certification is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. 
  • Preferred experience in engineering or related industry. 
  • Experience with IWTP Grant is a significant advantage. 
  • Knowledge of DISA is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and Benefit administration programs is a plus. 

 

Physical Requirements:   

  • Extended periods of desk work, including sitting and computer usage. 
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when required. 
  • May Require Travel 5%
