Payroll/Accounts Payable Clerk

Thompson First Group is currently seeking a qualified Payroll and Accounts Payable Clerk for a local client in Aston, PA. Candidates who have a background completing payroll and accounting for a manufacturing company are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Input invoices into system
• File Accounts Payable vouchers in the Accounts Payable department
• Process payroll for hourly & salaried employees
• Payroll Specialist must verify all payroll entries including deductions, earnings and changes, review and reconcile payroll data and resolving any discrepancies as necessary
• Respond to high volume emails, phone calls and faxes from vendors
• Ability to maneuver between several accounting websites to obtain answers and solutions
• Create and provide feedback, ideas, solutions and strategies that will bring value to the
• Department
• Perform other duties as required
