Job Description:
Engagea Comm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Event Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the Event Coordinator and other team members to plan, organize, and execute various events and promotional activities for our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $45000 - $57000 yearly
Location: Jacksonville, FL


Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning: Assist in the planning and coordination of events from conception to execution, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
  • Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials to drive attendance and engagement at events.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and partners to negotiate contracts, coordinate deliverables, and ensure all arrangements are in place for successful events.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, including set-up, registration, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and reconciling invoices to ensure events are delivered within budget.
  • Attendee Engagement: Interact with attendees to ensure a positive experience, gather feedback, and facilitate networking opportunities.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
