Sales Manager - Operated Crane Division

CraneWorks, Inc., is seeking to hire an experienced Sales Manager to manage a sales team of 12+ people. We are headquartered in Birmingham, AL and serve the Southeast with additional branches in Mobile, Decatur, and Nashville. We maintain a large, diverse crane fleet of carry deck, rough terrain, crawler, boom truck, truck crane, and all terrain cranes that range from 4 to 500 ton capacities. We support our customers with one of the largest fleets of cranes and operators in the Southeast. We are also the dealer for several lines of equipment.

A track record of success in the operated crane industry is a requirement for this position.

Sales Manager Responsibilities

• Coach, motivate and develop sales team’s ability to serve their customers
• Foster team environment that enables the team to capture new business as well as serving current customers at a high level
• Willing to challenge the team and hold them accountable
• Manage sales plans, budgets, metrics, dashboards, pipeline/forecast, product mix, sales process and CRM
• Must be competitive, passionate, and driven to serve others
• Must be comfortable in various environments from the boardroom to the jobsite.
• Develop relationships across various groups of stakeholders
• Creative and willing to challenge status quo
• Willing to travel overnight when required
• Must be eager for learning and teaching new strategies for personal and professional growth

• Experience leading a sales team with a track record of performance
• Experience in operated crane industry
• Experience in marketing strategies and analyzing trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Overnight travel required

CraneWorks office is in Birmingham, AL but location of preferred candidate is negotiable.
