Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager

Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to ensure the highest standards of work and compliance in a large-scale dormitory management services contract.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect and oversee facility-related work, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

- Document work acceptance, rejection, and noted deficiencies, including work performed by the Facilities and Grounds Maintenance staff and subcontractors.

- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements, including the International Building Code, National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Code, and various Federal, State, and Local code requirements.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of recent (within the past 10 years) responsible experience in the inspection and oversight of facility-related work, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the written documentation of work acceptance, rejection, and noted deficiencies.

- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.

- Basic computer skills to include the ability to input data into the system and generate various reports and correspondence as required.

-Previous FLETC experience Preferred.

Position Summary

Ideal candidate will be local to FLETC in Charleston, SC or willing to relocate. Position requires passing background check to access government facilities.
