The Talent Source is pleased to partner with a global IT Solutions and Services leader in the Enterprise space that enables some of the world's largest companies to modernize in place with a hybrid cloud strategy, so they don't need to re-platform or re-build from the ground up.

This Senior Director will be responsible for the successful delivery of consulting services to implement solutions across a broad portfolio of our client's products. As such we seek a dynamic leader with proven success supporting Solution Delivery teams, comprised of delivery managers, engineers and consultants to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard of quality, on time, and within budget, resulting in successful outcomes for their customers.

This position is highly influential requiring a collaborative style with a proven ability to work effectively across all functions that contribute to or depend on successful customer outcomes. This leader will also influence product direction, effective services offerings, services delivery financial and metrics accuracy, customer support alignment, and other partnerships that drive the companies growth and success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to ensure high quality, successful delivery of service solutions to customers.
  • Ensures Statements of Work are clear, concise, and outcomes can be achieved effectively.
  • Understand the strategic direction, expectations, and desired outcomes of the customer to ensure customers' expectations are being met.
  • Increase end customer satisfaction and profitability of the company through improved execution of implementations.
  • Motivate, coach, and lead a high performing, geographically dispersed team of managers and individual consultants spanning the product portfolio.
  • Partner with Project Management and Operations leadership to develop, monitor and continuously improve delivery methodologies, programs, and strategies to ensure effective, repeatable, and scalable project management, resource utilization practices, and reporting.
  • Assess risks, anticipate, and remove bottlenecks and resolve escalations impeding team's success.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure smooth execution, identifying gaps, and taking action to address them.
  • Contribute to development, readiness, and deployment of new service offerings.
  • Serve as executive escalation for services customers, while coordinating with team.
  • Mentor, develop and optimize a large services team that implements the client's solutions.
  • Provide leadership in collaboration with Business Units to influence product roadmaps, improving customer experiences and services efficiencies.

Expertise required:

  • 15+ years of experience leading client delivery / professional services teams in a software services delivery organization.
  • 8+ years project management and/or technology management experience.
  • Professional services at scale (@$20M+ annually)
  • Ability to manage relationships and communication at all levels, inspiring others to collaborate, and succeed.
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
  • Success leading a team of Delivery Managers and customer-facing consultants.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, in a variety of formats and circumstances required for a senior, customer-facing role.
  • Experience with global cross functional teams, and enterprise customers.
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced, demanding and high-volume environment.
