Job Title: Wellness Director (Registered Nurse) - Assisted Living Facility

Location: Denver Metro Area

Position Overview: As the Wellness Director, you will play a key role in promoting the overall health and well-being of our residents through the development and implementation of wellness programs and initiatives. You will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide nursing care as needed. Additionally, you will lead a team of dedicated staff members to ensure the highest level of care and support for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized care plans for residents, in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
• Monitor resident health status, medication management, and response to treatment, providing nursing care as needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services to residents.
• Foster a culture of wellness and promote healthy lifestyle choices among residents and staff.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing assisted living facilities and nursing practice.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and the local community.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Colorado.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care.
• Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills, with a focus on promoting wellness and preventing illness.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Passionate about improving the quality of life for seniors and promoting wellness initiatives.
• Knowledge of the Denver Metro Area healthcare market is a plus.
