We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Assisted Living Manager to lead our Assisted Living community. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate healthcare leader who enjoys building strong teams, delivering exceptional resident experiences, and ensuring the highest standards of care.
What You'll Do:
As the Assisted Living Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Assisted Living community while ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centered care.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Assisted Living community.
  • Supervise, coach, schedule, and support Assisted Living staff.
  • Ensure high-quality resident care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellness.
  • Assist residents and families through the move-in, transition, and move-out processes.
  • Coordinate apartment readiness for new residents.
  • Monitor the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and overall operation of the Assisted Living community.
  • Collaborate with nursing, dining, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to provide outstanding resident experiences.
  • Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Support Resident Council meetings and community activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Maryland Assisted Living regulations and Ginger Cove policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory readiness.
  • Assist with employee hiring, orientation, evaluations, coaching, and performance management.
  • Attend leadership meetings, educational programs, and professional development opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum five years of health care experience.
  • Licensed with OHCQ as an Assisted Living Manager in Maryland (or willing to attain such license within 3 months of hire)
  • At least three years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Knowledge and experience working in senior communities.
  • Experience working with residents with Alzheimer's or Dementia.
  • Ability to organize, supervise, delegate and provide leadership.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Must have valid form of federally issued ID.
  • Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and tact in dealing with others.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with other to help colleagues to achieve respective goals for creating wellness opportunities and experiences for our residents.
