Salary: $100,000 to $106,000

Schedule: Full Time, 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday- Friday

Blakehurst is looking for an experienced, hospitality focused Assisted Living Manager/Delegating Nurse that brings compassion, professionalism, and strong skills to work every day. The Assisted Living Manager/Delegating Nurse is responsible for oversight of the daily operations of the community's 20 Assisted Living suites & 15 Memory Care suites. Directs employees providing these services; oversees polices, and procedures for these areas and must maintain effective working relationships with the residents and their families. As the Delegating Nurse, manages the clinical oversight of resident care in the assisted living program.    

Primary Responsibilities:
1.Assure the provision of quality services needed and/or desired by residents, consistent with the policies and procedures established by the Executive Director in conjunction
   with the facility's ownership and LCS.

2.Implement and ensure adherence to operational policies approved by the facility's ownership and LCS. 

3.Participate in occupancy development through marketing and professional networking with the Admissions Director to assure targeted occupancy goals are met. 

4.Maintain licensure and certification of the facility; ensure ongoing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and/or accrediting body standards; maintain current
   knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.

5.Perform other duties as assigned.

Delegating Nurse Duties:

1. Observe each resident at least every 45 days.
2. Be available to be on call.
3. Have the overall responsibility for:
   (a) Managing the clinical oversight of resident care in the
        assisted living program;
   (b) Issuing nursing or clinical orders, based upon the
        needs of residents;
   (c) Reviewing the assisted living manager's assessment of
        residents;
   (d) Appropriate delegation of nursing tasks; and
   (e) Notifying the OHCQ

Qualifications:

Must have current and valid Maryland RN license. 
Experience working in assisted living and knowledge of assisted living regulations required.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we request vaccination status that he/she had testing done for measles, mumps, rubella, & varicella (MMRV) to ensure immunity
