Come grow with us! Bliss Small Batch Creamery is seeking a qualified individual to oversee our growing Catering and Events division. We amplify fun at all kinds of private and community events such as weddings, staff appreciations, celebrations of life, farmers markets, food truck festivals, school events, fairs and festivals, and more by serving up our delicious small batch craft ice cream in cups or cones from our food trucks and tricycles! Our events are fun and our customers are always in a happy celebration mood.

As a successful Catering and Events Coordinator on our team you would

·      Respond to, evaluate, and book event requests

·      Maintain a calendar

·      Manage projects and communicate with clients in our project management platform

·      Schedule and communicate effectively with staff

·      Attend and serve at events

·      Follow up on event details

·      Collaborate with Marketing

·      Plan special events in our shops

·      Communicate with our production team

·      Manage inventory and supplies

·      Maintain equipment

·      Communicate with management

·      Be fully supported, encouraged and appreciated by our management team

Position Requirements

·      Drivers license and a clean driving record

·      Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, especially in the summer

·      A joyful and positive attitude and a heart for serving others

·      Ability to delegate

·      Creativity

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively

·      Be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly

·      Great written and verbal communication skills

·      Attention to detail

·      Team attitude

·      Excellent time management skills

·      Strong logistical skills and the ability to see how all the pieces can fit together

·      Ability to think quickly, change directions, and come up with creative last-minute solutions

Compensation

·      40 Hour Work Weeks

·      Flexible Scheduling

·      $16/hour + tips starting pay DOE

·      2 Weeks PTO after 1 year

·      Flexibility for off-season unpaid leave

Who we are

Bliss Small Batch Creamery was established in 2016 by sisters Theresa Fouquette and Stacie Leaf. Our vision is to amplify fun and foster community for our neighbors in our community by creating and serving artful and delicious ice cream at our neighborhood scoop shops and at planned local private and community events such as weddings, staff appreciations, celebrations of life, farmers markets, food truck festivals, school events, fairs and festivals . We produce our own ice cream in our kitchen in Fircrest and we are dedicated to using only the highest quality all natural ingredients. We currently have 3 scoop shop locations, 2 food trucks and 4 tricycles for catering and events. In 2022 we are planning to add an additional scoop shop and at least 3 additional food trucks to our fleet.
