Training and Development Manager - Corporate

Must be available to work full-time Mondays through Fridays on-site.
The Training and Development Manager is responsible for training, coaching, and developing banking employees in alignment of First Service Bank's strategic plan. This role will assess training needs through surveys and consultations with management and executive staff to facilitate and provide the most effective training for employees. The Training and Development Manager will work closely with all staff to support ongoing development of policy and procedures of First Service Bank. This role will also be responsible for orientation for corporate training of new employees while partnering with subject matter experts (internal and external) and bank managers to identify training needs and develop effective educational material, content, and programs. This position requires the flexibility to travel to and from different branch location within the region, as needed.
The minimum requirements for this position are:
Driving is an essential function of this role during and sometimes after business hours to perform the duties of the job. Therefore, this position is classified as a safety-sensitive position.

About the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services
The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (ADWS) is the state agency responsible for providing job-related services to unemployed state residents, such as coordinating training and educational opportunities, processing unemployment insurance claims, and connecting job seekers with employment opportunities in the state.
The Arkansas Division of Workforce Services consists of four major sections: Workforce Services, Adult Education, Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, and Services for the Blind. Each section is responsible for administering multiple state and federal grants, the programs they fund, and the services they provide to Arkansans.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Advance typing skills
- Ability to work in groups and alone
- Performance management experience
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
- Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including: copy machine, telephone, and computer
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle to attend off-site meetings, trainings, as needed
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
