Outpatient Program Director:

Valley Hope has an exciting opportunity at our Denver, CO facility. We're looking for an experienced clinical leader to join our team in the key position of Outpatient Program Director.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare‐related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Independent Licensure to provide diagnosis and treatment for Substance Abuse Disorder and or Mental Health.
  • Five (3) plus years’ experience in case management.
  • Five (3) plus years of progressive work and relevant industry experience with preference in healthcare facility of residential/ outpatient treatment program.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in healthcare or related field.
  • Additional education, training, or work experience in business management.
  • Five (5) plus years of progressive work and relevant industry experience with preference in healthcare facility of residential/ outpatient treatment program.
  • Five (5) plus years of supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Work experience with healthcare accreditation with preference within the substance abuse treatment industry.

COMPENSATION:

  • Starting salary range $80,000 - $100,000 per year ( Based on education and experience)

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Manages day-to-day clinical and administrative operations for outpatient treatment facility.
  • Supervises all administrative and clinical staff for outpatient treatment facility; includes hiring, training, and providing performance review. Provides routine performance feedback, ongoing leadership, and mentoring in support of staff development.
  • Oversees management of all clinical programs including staff, administration, and therapeutic milieu.
  • Communicates with Program Director or Executive Director on a regular basis to evaluate program performance and needs; assist with other supervision duties as assigned
  • Represents program at the community level attending networking and educational opportunities.
  • Monitors the physical running of the program; to provide a therapeutic environment, and ensure corrective action is taken when necessary.
  • Facilitate effective patient movement between assigned outpatient treatment facility and residential facility and/or Valley Hope AC/ESS services.
  • Adheres to Valley Hope’s clinical philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies.
  • Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of counseling procedures and substance abuse treatments in accordance with company policy and State and Federal guidelines.
  • Maintains a current working knowledge of trends within substance abuse treatment industry and with State and Federal regulatory requirements and guidelines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office setting with traditional hours within an outpatient treatment facility.
  • Direct contact with patients.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time; regularly talking to and listening to others.
