Job Description:


The Assistant Operations Manager will assist the Operations Manager with leading our production team to ensure timely and effective job completion. This pivotal role requires a candidate with a solid background in project management, exterior trades, construction and strong leadership and organizational skills.

Experience/Qualifications:


3-5 years of project management experience.
2-3 years of management experience.
Previous experience in the exterior trades is required.
A construction background is required.

Skills Needed:

Clear and effective communication.
Ability to coordinate across internal and external teams.
Confidence and capability in working with technology.
Multi-tasking proficiency.
Proficient in job cost analysis to ensure project profitability.
Excellent coordination skills across various teams within the organization.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Acculynx is a plus.
Team player with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
Capacity to see the big picture and analyze complex construction projects.
Very Detail Oriented

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough job cost analysis to optimize project profitability.
Coordinate effectively across multiple teams within the organization.
Cross train with design consultants on material selections process and backup to design consultants.
Proactively identify potential issues on jobs.
Communicate clearly with the design team, other team members, and homeowners regarding project details.
Work on-site during regular business hours.
Create specialty metal quotes and orders.
Read and analyze insurance estimates accurately.
Responsible for assisting with the operational flow of the companys production, ensuring that work is being done in alignment with the mission and vision of the company and in a profitable and efficient manner.
Approve all quotes, ensuring consideration of potential issues, clarity, and protection of company profitability.
Ensure adherence to all processes and systems within operations; evaluate and propose improvements as needed.
Conduct bi-weekly 1:1s with direct reports to ensure team efficiency.
Assist Operations Manager with team productivity and cost-effectiveness, managing department costs and ensuring projects meet appropriate margins.
Ensure the team has daily engagement in AccuLynx notifications and tasks.
Responsible for the morale of the operations team.
Assist in expanding into new opportunities.
Expand the network of suppliers and subcontractors to maintain profitability and competitive margins.
Meet with Homeowners to resolve issues as needed

Salary: $70,000-$85,000
