Description

We are a fast-paced urology practice seeking a friendly, compassionate, and organized medical receptionist to join our team in Bryn Mawr, PA. Candidate must be a quick learner, use good judgment, and have great customer service skills. In this role, you will assist with patient check-in/out, insurance verification, patient scheduling and other duties for the office. Must be available Monday through Friday. Essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Perform a wide variety of clinical and patient care activities for the providers
• -Confirm patient's medical coverage
• -Receive co-pays for medical appointments prior to patients being treated
• -Schedule appointments for patients either on the phone or during the check out process
• -Take clinical calls from patients to forward to the proper provider
• -Document everything in Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Records (EHR/EMR) system
• -Manage messages from patients with provider
• -Manage provider medication refill tab

Work Location: In person

Pay range $17-$20 but negotiable based on experience

• Electronic Medical Records software experience--practice uses Urochart and Allscripts (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
