Reports to: President & CEO and Vice President, Sales & Membership Engagement

Location & Employment Status: Virtual/Remote & Full Time, must be located in a major metropolitan area on the east coast

Nicsa is a not-for-profit trade association striving to connect all facets of the global asset and wealth management industry in order to develop, share, implement, and advance leading practices. Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and elevate our brand presence within the asset and wealth management industry. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing leader with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies within the financial services sector.

 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and managing marketing strategies for all Nicsa programs, including events, content, membership drives, and sponsorship campaigns. This position is responsible for digital strategy across the organization and serves as the primary owner and manager of the association’s website, social media, email marketing, and brand management.

 

Specific job responsibilities include; but are not limited to:

 

Primary Ownership and Strategy Development:

  • Creation, management, and execution of marketing strategy for Nicsa events, content, membership, and sponsorship.
  • Articulation and delivery of the digital vision for Nicsa.
  • Primary ownership of brand management and oversight.
  • Primary ownership of KPI tracking and reporting for all marketing initiatives.
  • Execution of graphic design requirements and collateral creation for all projects and events.
  • Creation and management of all marketing budgets, in conjunction with the President & CEO.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to bolster marketing strategies and ensure Nicsa’s competitive edge.

 

Digital Marketing Management:

  • Ownership across all digital marketing initiatives including website management, social media, email marketing, newsletters, and mobile app.
  • Primary ownership of the Nicsa website through strategic planning and oversight of content, navigation, user experience, systems integration, and vendor relationship management.
  • Primary ownership of the email marketing platform including managing a robust email schedule, leveraging and creating audience segments, and designing emails. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for a one-time migration of email platforms and establishing an SMS strategy on the platform.
  • Execution of social media program, including schedule & strategy management, image and post creation, posting, and tracking KPIs. Experience managing LinkedIn messaging and paid campaigns is beneficial.

 

Collaboration and Relationship Management:

  • Collaboration with Vice President of Sales & Membership Engagement around recruitment efforts and campaigns, sponsorship outreach and fulfillment, and conference registrations.
  • Collaboration with Vice President of Content around distribution of digital newsletters, content marketing, press releases, and corporate communications.
  • Collaboration with Executive Director, Head of Operations & Events around General Membership Meeting, Strategic Leadership Forum, Fearless Leadership Symposium and their coinciding award programs.
  • Primary ownership of technology partner and design partner relationships.

• Managing assigned committee(s) including meeting materials and scheduling.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to expand Nicsa’s reach and impact.

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in the financial services and/or asset/wealth management industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Must have proficient knowledge working with the following: design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva; Adobe PDF Editor; email marketing platforms (MailChimp a plus); Microsoft Office; Content Management Systems (CMS); Social Media platform such as Hootsuite; Google Analytics (GA4 a plus).

· Experience with the following a plus: Association Management Systems (AMS) or Salesforce; Learning Management Systems (LMS); Google Drive; C-Event or other mobile event platform; JotForm and/or Survey Monkey; bit.ly.

· Significant ability to learn new technologies and be resourceful in finding sustainable and creative solutions.

· Significant ability to draft and edit content with a strong attention to detail.

· Ability to understand metrics and analyze KPIs to help make decisions and drive overall Marketing and/or Events strategies and ideas.

· Candidate should have a keen eye for designing collateral that is cohesive and on brand with an ability to execute under deadline.

· Given the remote work environment, the candidate must be extremely proactive with a goal/results-driven orientation that can work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate will demonstrate strong resource, workload, and capacity management skills while being a collaborative team player.

· Any outside business activity (such as a part time job) must be pre-disclosed and requires prior approval.

 

Salary:

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week during standard business hours), and the total compensation will range $70,000-$80,000 (base & bonus) annually.
