Are you looking for a job role in a different, exciting, challenging, and dynamic career to help grow our real estate company? Park Metro Realty is a four-year-old real estate firm in downtown San Diego that works with clients buying or selling real estate sale in all neighborhoods surrounding Balboa Park. We also perform full property and asset management services throughout San Diego County. Our clients are both commercial and residential.

 

Don’t know about real estate? No problem! We’ll teach you everything you need to know if you have a willingness to learn and a great attitude. Our work environment is fast paced and rewarding for someone who enjoys helping others. You need to be flexible and able to meet unexpected deadlines when unplanned issues arise at properties.

 

Your work takes place Monday through Friday during normal business hours. You will typically work in our office in downtown San Diego, and the other time might possibly be spent running errands at properties. We are flexible in setting your normal working hours in a way that fit your personal needs, but we ask you to provide us a set of standard work hours that will be the same each and every week.

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

-Answering phones with a customer-service oriented mentality

-Assisting with communications to clients through mailers and social media

-Managing a steady inflow of daily emails

-Updating tasks each day in both our client relationship management and task management software

-Processing mail

-Vetting vendors, getting estimates, scheduling, and managing services they perform at properties

-Assisting licensed real estate agents with tasks that do not require a real estate license

-Assisting the CEO and management team as needed

-Running errands around the County

-Maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment

-Participating in process improvement

-Assisting the marketing manager with regularly mailed newsletters

-Data entry

-Assisting tenants with service needs


The following are requirements to apply for this job:

  1. Associates degree, or higher level of education
  2. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
  3. A positive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently
  4. Flexibility to assist in resolution of unexpected problems at properties
  5. Valid driver license including:
    1. A reliable vehicle you can use to run errands
    2. Car with insurance with limits required by Park Metro Realty
    3. Clean driving record
  6. Credit score above 680
  7. Clean criminal record
  8. Legal ability to work in United States
  9. Experience with Microsoft, Google, email, and shared calendars

 

This job begins with pay of $20-30 dollars per hour, depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. The job requires approximately 15-20 hours per week of work. After a 60-day trial period, you will have the option to go to full time with salary, medical benefits, paid vacation. There are many opportunities to advance and grow once you prove yourself.
