Job Description

The Front Desk Assistants are a team of welcoming, friendly, and attentive professionals who deliver outstanding service to everyone who enters our doors. FDAs represent our brand and are ambassadors both within and outside of our organization. They operate at the front desk to greet clients, guests, and staff members. They manage the day-to-day needs of the reception area and ensure our company remains the most welcoming environment possible. Guided by the principles of inclusive hospitality, FDAs engage with all visitors to create a positive and memorable first impression.


Typical Shift as an FDA:

  • Start your shift by ensuring the reception area is tidy and organized.
  • Greet visitors, offer them refreshments, and guide them to their destinations.
  • Provide information about the company's services and resources.
  • As you conclude your shift, organize reception and ensure it's ready for the next day.


This is a full-time, in-office position located in Mesa, AZ. Typical office hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm with some nights and weekends for events.

Compensation:

$18 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and be knowledgeable about the company's services, events, and resources.
  • Arrange meeting rooms for groups and stay informed about activities happening within the building, such as meetings or events.
  • Assist guests and team members with questions, collecting payments, and inter-department communications.
  • Ensure the organization is the most welcoming, comfortable, friendly, and accessible it can be.
  • Participate in marketing activities as a Brand Ambassador, exemplifying our values and mission.
Qualifications:
  • Strong desire to create a welcoming community and serve as a company ambassador at all times.
  • Be friendly, attentive, and willing to engage with anyone.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle customer concerns both in person and over the phone.
  • Knowledge of the company’s services, partners, and internal departments.
  • Prior office or customer service experience is beneficial.
