Given the unique nature of Brigitte's Bakery, operating under the Friendship Circle of S. Diego and without a physical location (we rent a kitchen) we are seeking a multi-faceted role that combines sales, marketing, community outreach, and operations management. A basic understanding of Kosher food practices is a bonus.

We specialize in handcrafted baked goods made with love and precision by our unique bakers with special needs. Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and entrepreneurial Community Bakery Manager to lead our outreach efforts and manage bakery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing our clientele, spearheading marketing initiatives, establishing partnerships, and ensuring our baked goods reach our ideal customers—all while maintaining the highest standards of Kosher practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies to expand our customer base, including local businesses, Organizations, synagogues, Farmers markets and community events.

- Forge partnerships with marketplaces, online platforms, and local events to facilitate sales opportunities.

- Oversee training programs for individuals with special needs, ensuring a productive, inclusive, and safe work environment.

- Coordinate with the baker to manage inventory, sourcing, and production schedules according to Kosher compliance.

- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, pricing, and invoicing, to ensure the bakery's profitability.

- Create and execute marketing campaigns and maintain an active social media presence to promote our brand and values.

- Organize delivery logistics and set up for local markets or events.

- Nurture great customer relationships and gather feedback to improve our offerings and engagement.

- Uphold all Kosher certification requirements and practices within all aspects of bakery operations.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in business management, marketing, sales, or related fields.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

- A passion for community service and experience working with individuals with diverse abilities.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media outreach.

- Ability to work independently, be resourceful, and creatively problem-solve.
