As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Installer to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Vehicle Installer at Ozark Mountain Van Company, you will be responsible for the installation and customization of a variety of van components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with automotive work, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service. If you are passionate about working with vehicles and enjoy solving technical challenges, we want to hear from you. NOTE: This is a 1099-Contractor position.

Responsibilities:

Install and configure van accessories, including but not limited to lighting, audio systems, communication devices, and security features.
Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute complex van modifications.
Interpret and follow wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation instructions.
Maintain accurate records of installed components and modifications.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Test and quality-check installations to meet company and client expectations.
Provide technical support and assistance to customers as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Installer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and electronics.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy components.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Education and Certification:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification in automotive technology or related field is a plus.
