Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, highly reliable and service-oriented Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our team in Williamsville. As a Front Desk Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. You will greet patients as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payment information. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients as they arrive and provide an excellent patient experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Assist patients with paperwork, including consent forms
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment
- Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of patients throughout their services
- Present treatment plans to patients
- Process daily correspondence, including emails and faxes
- Verify dental insurance comprehensively
- Submit and process payments for insurance claims
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and patients
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiar with computers and scheduling software
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
