Job Description

Partnership Staffing is hiring a Designer/Drafter to joing our team.

Job Duties include:

Collecting Structural materials required for designs
Calculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designs
Drafting designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs
Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs
Meeting with architects, designers, and engineers to discuss design ideas
Developing product designs from scratch
Presenting rough design drafts for client approval
Produce sheet-metal and welded structure designs.
Use Microsoft Office programs for other support activities.
Use SolidWorks and its PDM accessory to create and edit solid models and assembly drawings for electro-mechanical equipment.
Design experience with sheet metal and aluminum structures
Can provide production support with bill-of-material creation, design problem resolution and use our ECN process.
